Ingredients 1 pound bag (16 oz.) of Goya "green split peas" 2 Tbsp olive oil |

Wash the split peas with filtered water. Put them in a large pot for cooking, with all of the ingredients together. Let it boil for about 2 hours. Then finally put it on a low simmering heat for about another 2 or 3 hours, until the peas are like a cream. |
